The Kasper Men, Doing Battle

We had a fun day at church a couple of weeks ago, doing a “Father/Buddy Day”. J & I decorated our own shirts (spiffy, eh?), and participated in a series of grueling events designed specifically for the enjoyment of the mothers and other family members in attendance. But that didn’t stop us gallant warriors, no sir. We came home with smiles on our faces, sun-screen in our pores, the perfume of victory in our flaring nostrils, second-place and third-place ribbons, and wet bellies (a leaking water balloon, travelling at high velocity between son and Father cannot be cajoled into a soft landing, no matter how great the skill, sadly).

    hello,
(long time no comment. Say…things look different round here…you re-designed?)
Sounds like fun – the Father/Buddy Day. Is it like an annual thing at church?

    Hey Ashutosh! =:)

Yeah, I think I redesigned a bit ago. Nothing all that inspiring, but I find that I get bored quickly with the same old look, etc. Probably due for a new one. =;)

And yep, it was fun! I believe it is an annual thing at church, yeah. Pretty cool, actually. I absolutely love spending time with my kids doing silly stuff like that. Hopefully, it gives them really happy memories that will last a lifetime. =:) Help them remember how much their earthly and heavenly Fathers love them when times get touch and keep them sane in this completely insane world we find ourselves in these days. =:/

Good luck writing slowly! I’ll work on wearing my hat slowly… =;)
