@Shawn: Hey!! =:) No, I don't think I'm going to read "The Shack". From what I understand of it, it speaks to the loss of something that is just a little to close to home for me right now.

Actually I don't have the slightest clue, none of them ever approached us in anyway. I guess its been a pet-peeve of somebody at Qt Software to write a Qt/C++ IDE. And now that there are suddenly a lot more new users that should write Qt software, which might not all like to use emacs/vim, there's a real demand inside Qt Software/Nokia to have a user-friendly IDE/extended editor

Hiya Andreas!! =:) So... this probably isn't the right forum for asking, but why did the Qt guys create Qt Creator instead of put more effort into making kdevelop the Qt-blessed IDE? I would TOTALLY love to see kdevelop get full-time support!! =:)

Hmm, I guess I need to work a bit on being more photogenic and also more known across KDE :) Well, for all those reading this and wondering, I'm working on KDevelop (even "stumbled" into being its maintainer as of a few weeks ago) - the greates C++ IDE ever made.

In the second picture, the guy in the white shirt (next to Alex) is Harri Porten. Next to Harri, in the red shirt, is Andreas Pakulat.
