Also, I should note that talking about eating my little childhood, adorable, super-jumping, guinea pig friend does not necessarily assuage my feelings of sorrow or loss. There is *one* peruvian restaurant in the city, and the proprietor assured me that one, it was tasty, two, he wasn't going to serve it because of issues with local health and safety regulations.
